“Imagine my homeowner surprise when I woke up at 6AM on January 23,2026 to fill the coffeepot with water and saw that the right side of a double sink (the other side being a garbage disposal) in the kitchen was retaining water and had not drained all night. This scene seems to have started the evening before but I had hoped that it was just a slow drain. I had a sinking(no pun intended) feeling that truly all was not well and there could be a real problem. I had tried the evening before to use vinegar and baking soda to open the drain but to no avail. About 9AM or so Jason Salas arrived. After checking the problem drain he shared the nature of the situation and the possible outcomes, the best being a clogged drain with no extenuating issues.. He set to work and soon had the drain cleared. He also mentioned a tecnique to keep this frrom happening again. Jason was efficient, careful, and seemed to understand the situation quite well and shared it with me in a professional and understandable manner.
